Storyline

Peter Parker, a teenage outcast, is trying to unravel the mystery of his parents' death. He is bitten by a genetically engineered spider and gains special abilities. He then takes on the persona of Spider-Man to protect New York City from the villainous Lizard, while also trying to win the heart of his crush, Gwen Stacy.
